Susan started painting at an early age, studying art in High School and continuing throughout college, obtaining a degree in Art in the early 60's. Her paintings are woven throughout with brilliant colors, in an impressionistic style.

Her work celebrates the simple side of life; the pleasures of fresh cut flowers, a sea breeze, children at play, or an afternoon stroll. They are meant to delight the eye of the beholder and brighten the day of any collector. She captures the essence of a moment and makes it last forever on her canvasses.

Susan's original paintings are now in several hundred private collections. She also spent 20 years as an interior designer, with work being shown in Gourmet, Metropolitan Home, Indianapolis Monthly and Country Inns. Art studios are located in Harbor Springs, MI, and Anguilla, B.W.I.
